水油堆的吃法也异常讲究。金澄澄又圆润饱满面团，因为沾了糖浆，水油堆炸出来是软的。这时，你夹起一个放进碗里，再淋上红糖水，咬一口，又酥又软，又甜又腻，绝对会让你回味无穷。
有一次，金黄圆润的水油堆刚上到桌面，那浓郁扑鼻的香味像块磁铁一样吸住了我，使我垂涎三尺，我狼吞虎咽地吃了起来，面团的糯香，芝麻的浓香，使我回味无穷，水油堆发出的声音让我不尽感叹真爽！因为吃得太多，第二天喉咙便发炎了，从那时起我就决定吃水油堆时一次不宜太多，适可而止。
